The Surface Cruising series derives from the artist’s 2021 artwork Look for Nothing, taking inspiration from the curved nature of a glass convex lens in the artwork and its attribute as an “image intermediary.” It expands into a series of photography and objects. Building upon the narrative of Look for Nothing, the artist delves deeper into exploring the relationship between curves, photographic surfaces, interfaces, and screens, as well as how images generate a perception of multiple spaces within physical environments. Simultaneously, it responds to how our desires operate or undergo transformations within the logic of technological and artificial constructs.

《曲面遊戲》系列源自藝術家 2021 年的作品《沒找什麼》,從作品中玻璃凸透鏡這一媒材的「曲面」,及其作為「影像中介」的屬性出發,延伸一系列攝影和物件。在《沒找什麼》的敘事基礎上,藝術家以這一系列作品進一步探討曲面、攝影表面、介面和螢幕的關係,以及影像如何在物理空間當中創造多重空間的感知。另一方面,則回應我們的情慾如何在科技物和人造物的邏輯裡運作或變形。
